Author Fee

The International Journal of Engineering Innovation and Systems (IJEIS) is an open-access journal committed to maintaining the quality of scholarly publications through a professional editorial process, objective peer review, and global accessibility of research outputs. To support the sustainability of journal management—including manuscript editing, article layout, DOI registration, metadata indexing, online publication, and long-term digital archiving—the journal implements the following publication fee policy:

1. Submission Fee: USD 0.00

Authors are not charged any fee at the submission stage. All submitted manuscripts will be processed according to the journal’s editorial standards and will undergo an objective, professional, and independent peer review process.

2. Article Processing Charge (APC): USD 20.00

The APC is only charged for manuscripts that have been accepted for publication. This fee supports:

  • Editorial and administrative management
  • Peer review and manuscript editing processes
  • Article layout and formatting
  • DOI registration and metadata indexing
  • Open-access online publication
  • Long-term digital archiving

Publication Fee Provisions:

  1. Articles written collaboratively by more than one author are subject to a publication fee of USD 20 per article.
  2. The journal encourages academic collaboration; therefore, single-author (sole author) articles are subject to a publication fee of USD 40.
  3. The publication fee covers manuscripts up to 8 pages. Additional charges apply for manuscripts exceeding this limit:
    • USD 5 per additional page for collaborative articles
    • USD 10 per additional page for single-author articles
  4. The author biography section is not included in the total page count subject to publication fees.
  5. Payment details and instructions will be provided by the editorial team after the manuscript is officially accepted for publication.
  6. All payments are non-refundable once the article has entered the production and publication stage.

Waiver Policy

The International Journal of Engineering Innovation and Systems (IJEIS) is committed to supporting fair and inclusive access to scholarly publishing. Authors facing financial constraints may apply for a partial or full waiver of the APC. All waiver requests will be evaluated fairly and confidentially, without affecting the review process or the final publication decision.
